Both sides of the coin

Time passed by and Socio noticed she felt and acted differently around Shar'tok. It was new feeling for her, something she couldn't describe completely.
Safe, at least she felt safe. And liked. When she fell asleep, Shar'tok usually sat next to her, shyly fiddling the messy hair of hers. When she woke up, Shar'tok was awake already, looking down to her and smiling warmly. If Shar'tok wasn't around because of reason or another, Socio noticed she kept on thinking of him.
Their living under the sun of Vale wasn't always that easy. Socio got easily confused because of her feelings, feeling confused made her angry and furstrated. That leaded to situations where she acted stupid and even agressive towards Shar'tok. Shar'tok had nasty habbit, wich Socio hated the most. Every time she got mad, Shar'tok breaked one of his fingers. Even the sound made Socio feel bad. Many times yells of these two trolls echoed from trees of the Vale.
Once again these two were fighting. Outer wall of the Gurubashi Arena mirrored the shouting to the jungle. Shar'tok breaked a finger again, and Socio stared to him eyes flashing. She was almost blind from anger, lifting her upper lip to snarl. Shar'tok returned the snarl for her, calling his raptor after that and started to run away from her.
Immediately after Socio saw Shar'tok's back disappearing to the jungle, she started to feel even more bad. She fell to her knees, loosening all her strength from her limbs. Weakly she tried to lift her hands up. After filling her lungs with thick air of Stranglethorn Vale Socio yelled "ye' no seein' me carin' ye, Shar'tok!". Birds from the nearby trees flew up, but no other answer was given. Socio sobbed, burying her face to her hands, trying to swallow her tears. Socio wasn't even sure why she cried. For furstration, because of being scared? Or maybe both, but Socio didn't want to cry. Crying was sign of weakness and she definetly wasn't weak.
It took fewminutes, before Socio felt someone carefully touching her shoulder. "Socio.." she heard Shar'tok whispering with scared, slightly shivering voice. Socio didn't andwer, she just tried to stop crying under her palms. She didn't even know what to say. "Socio.." Shar'tok whispered again while kneeling next to her, sounding more paniced this time. He pulled Socio's hands down, kissing her tears and closed eyelids, wich she suttbornly kept closed. "Socio I love ye' and me never wantin' to hurt ye'.." Shar'tok finally continued.
Finally Socio swallowed her pride and squeezed Shar'tok, nodding and sobbing one last time. "Me love yeh 'oo, Shar'tok. Me love yeh 'oo".

The greatest ones

On the morning glory Socio crawled up and headed to the bonfire wich was kept up by orcs all day and all night. Socio sitted down, and absentmindedly patted the sleeping wolf next to her, while still yawning and trying to make the night go away from her eyes. The wolf glared back to her and Socio noticed she stared to the eyes of shaman, Kibo. "M-me sorreh.." Socio mumbled and took some distance to him, while drawing her hand back. Socio watched from the corner of her eye how he lazily layed his snout back to his paws and continued sleeping.
Shaman wolf, she wanted to know how to become one too. But she knew only strong shaman could transform into a ghostwolf. Maybe Kibo could teach her? Or if not, she could still use her eyes and learn a thing or two from him. Socio started to cut skins to their shape, concentrathing to her work so much, she didn't notice when the shaman left.
Socio pushed some finished armorpieces to her bag, and walked to zeppelin landing. She had few times visited Orgrimmar, to sell armor and bags she had made, after moving permanently to Vale. When she saw zeppelin finally stopping to its platform Socio felt presence of something powerful. Even before laying her eyes to a masked troll, followed by hunter and it's bird she knew who she was looking to. Fear and respect bubbled inside of her for a moment, before she kneeled to platform in front of Emperor. She didn't need to ask who this troll was, there was no doubt of it. Without daring to look directly to Emperor, Socio silently saluted him as he passed by, before stepping to the Zeppelin.

Hunting partners

Without bigger planning Socio and Shar'tok started to travel in the Vale and surrounding areas together. Almost every morning Shar'tok was waiting Socio at the gates of Grom with his raptor, smiling warmly and tilting his head. Camille, the tiny cat, meowing at his feet or from his pocket. He seemed to be awake for hours, when Socio still rubbed her sleepy eyes.
Shar'tok knew Vale so well, it amazed Socio. They hunted "pinkskins; humans, gnomes, elves, dwarfd and draeneis. Shar'tok even took her to see nearby human populated areas where they continued their hunt. Shar'tok crafted more powerful spells than Socio, but what came to use skinning knife, Socio beated him.
Socio's brutality seemed to draw Shar'tok's silent attention. He seemed to float between admire and shock, every time when Socio finished the body of killed pinkskin. How Socio stepped to the shoulders of the corpse and cracked the neck by twisting the head around with rapid movement. Sometimes they weren't even dead yet, but Socio didn't actually care. For her they were illegal trespassers in the Vale, land of the Empire and it's Emperor, so they deserved every bit they got. More brutal, the better, she tought.
Some of the trespassers Socio just scalped. The scalps she tied to her belt or branches of nearby trees. Sometimes she took long and thick branch of the tree or bush, and impaled the body, putting the scalp to the high end of the branch. That she did mostly for the dwarves, since she felt their skins weren't good enough to be bothered of skinning more and their flesh was too fatty to be eat. Sometimes they took the heart out tho and feasted with it, or Shar'tok sent it to Emperor.
Humans, gnomes, draeneis and elves made Socio more happy. After breaking their neck, Socio turned the corpse to it's stomach and cutted their armor off. She cutted huge piece of skin from their back, cleaned the non wanted tissues from it and rolled it to her back. When she took parts of their skins she wanted, Socio turned to their head. She stabbed the back of the neck, cutting veins, tissues and thick feeling throat. After that she pushed the dagger to the spine of corpse, starting to twinch and twist the dagger, separating the head from the body. Finally she grabbed the head with her both hands and pulled it off. After staring the head a moment, she pushed it to her backbag with other heads, licking her dagger and fingers from blood, sometimes making a mess to Shar'tok's robe and hands, when he lended a hand to help her.
If that was a draenei she was working with, Socio finished the corpse by cutting their tails off. Nothing was more tasty than good, fresh draenei tail. That's why Shar'tok recieved even bloodier and widers smile than usual, after killing any draenei.

Shar'tok

After some days in the Vale Socio saw someone familiar in Grom'gol. It was the troll from Thousand Needles. He was standing outside the camp with his purple raptor and tiny, pocketsized cat. The troll had wooden voodoo mask covering his face, but Socio knew his voice and bright coloured tribal robe he was wearing. He was arguing with some orc, using very bad orcish. They yelled and waved hands around them or towards eachother. Socio saw the troll grabbing the hilt of his dagger few times, like wanting to pull it out and cut throat of the orc who waved and shouted in front of him.
Socio grabbed her backbag from the bonfire and pushed herself past of those two, grinning and slightly nodding for the troll, ignoring the orc completely. She didn't know how the troll answered to her, because of the mask, but at least he turned to look after Socio, while she disappeared to jungle.
Socio walked around, hunting tigers and panthers. Soon the troll appeared to her path in jungle. He pushed the mask above his head and smiled, while leaning to his heavy staff. "Socio.." he said, like tasting her name in his mouth. Trying to decide was she good or bad. Socio grinned again, and the troll smiled widely back to her. When she tried to push herself past the troll on the path, he and tiny silver tabby turned to join her walk.
Shar'tok Fer'Jaralun, that was the name of the troll. He seemed to be much more warm and friendly person that Socio tought after their meeting in Thousand Needles. He didn't talk much about his late past, but that was more than fine for Socio, since she didn't want to talk about Zul'Farrak either. Anyways she enjoyed listening his tales about Gurubashi trolls and the Vale. Great Emperor and his High Priests. Endless fights with dwarves and elves..
Eyes widened Socio listened, and when they finally reached Grom'gol again, it was already dark. Before Socio could say a word, Shar'tok bowed and rode to the dark jungle with his raptor.
