New world

When the boat finally reached Booty Bay, Socio felt much more lighter. She was full of hope and strength, without a doubt the moving would have been a right choise.
She took her bag and walked out from Booty Bay. The huge shark jaws at the entrace amused her, she didn't notice them on her last trip to Vale. Socio grinned happily, before starting to follow the road. She was told to go Grom'gol, outpost mostly populated by orcs.
Raptors and panthers made noices in the jungle. Socio already dreamed about their skins and claws. They'd make a perfect armor, better than the short leather trousers and odd looking chestpiece she was wearing under the tabard. She dreamed about exploring the jungle, hunting and fighting against the trespassers with other trolls of The Empire. She dreamed about meeting The Emperor, and the two strong shamans she had met earlier in Kalimdor.
Socio walked in peace, sucking the Vale inside of her with all her senses. She even had to touch the ground. Everything was so full of life. Tanaris and also Durotar and The Barrens was mostly deserted. No trees, no birds even no grass, so sound of the wind in the leafs of trees was like music for her. Only the sea reminded her from her past.

Leaving the Durotar

Soon after the trip to Thousand Needles, Socio was ready to leave Sen'Jin and Durotar. She had a new armor wich she had made herself. Her skinning knife hanged from her belt, and she lift a bag to her back and lifted her staff from the ground. She patted Sade's head for goodbye, and bowed before the elders of the village. She tought she'd feel sad, but she was too exited about the Vale. It was her life, finally moving on, and she was happy about it.
Socio headed to The Ratchet, town of the goblins. She sat at the dock, filling her lungs with air of The Great Sea. She munched a draenei tail and waited the boat to arrive. Her feet already hurted a bit because of the long walk through The Barrens, but she didn't let it distrub.
When the boat arrived, Socio stepped on and turned to look back once more. Goodbye Kalimdor, she tought and made a lazy salute before turning around and looking to the direction where Stranglethorn Vale was waiting for her. Then she sitted down and leaned her back against some cargo on upper deck, closed her eyes and let the wind blow through her hair.

First sight

With Sade Socio travelled around Thousand Needles looking for the rogue, but she didn't see or feel him around anymore. Sometimes she saw footprints wich could have been his, but soon they got mixed to other prints and disappeared.
Socio had already given' up for that day, swearing for revenge to everyone who'd carry the same mark or raven shaped insignia, when she heard a scream. Her first tought was, that someone else got attacked by that elf, so Socio pushed her raptor to run towards the voice.
Soon Socio saw violet raptor with its reins and bag running towards her. After that she heard more swearing from ahead. Much more closer this time. Socio headed to a troll, who was laying in the ground, looking furious. The troll was older than her and his clothes were covered with dust. He seemed to be fine, if you didn't count the angry looks on his face. Socio jumped down from the back of her raptor, but wasn't sure if the troll noticed her. At least he didn't look up to her.
Carefully Socio walked closer. "A-are 'yeh alrigh'?" Socio asked with low, maybe even bit worried voice. The troll mumbled and rised himself to sit. Socio offered her hand to help the troll up, but he just ignored it, pulling himself up without her help. He swiped dust from his robe and long white hair, still not looking straightly to her. Suddenly he glanced to Socio with his some how cloudly looking eyes, straightening himself to his full length. " 'Ail Recrui' " the troll said to her. He was over two heads taller than Socio, and she looked scared to him. "H-hail" Socio answered, staring the tabard of his, snakes of The Empire.
Socio was scared, but also bit curious what came to this new troll she hasn't met before. His face was emotionless, cold and bordered by white hair that had escaped from his ponytail. But even under the cold looking face, he looked kind of funny; Rounded tips of his tusks, scarred skin, marks of lived life on his face and eyes, heavy wooden staff and tribal robe. With a second glance he didn't look that scary anymore. Socio hided her grin, without knowing how important that troll would be in her life.

First blood to hunt

Socio was preparing her moving from Sen'Jin and Durotar. She was completing her final task as initiate of Sen'Jin's shaman trainers. They had given her a raptor called Sade, to travel with her. It was good, but wild minded beast. It had seen many initiating trolls on it's life, elders said.
Socio was riding through canyons of Thousand Needles. Sometimes she stopped to kill and skinn the winged serpents wich flied on the sides of the road. Their scales made beautiful surface to armors, so she collected them loads.
At some point night elf approached her. The elf smiled to her, but Socio looked to him doubting. They travelled long close to each other. Socio didn't see his face because of the black hood that covered everything but tip of his nose and long ears. Socio saw the purple tabard of his and worg or some other sort of dog following him around. When he came too close, Socio snarled to him and the elf backed up. She felt his smell in her nose, and sensed him moving around even when she didn't see him. Socio did her best to ignore and avoid the elf. When she was getting more and more annoyed because of his presence, Socio got ready to attack. The elf was strong and Socio knew her changes were small, but she didn't care. Anger made her hear the blood flowing in her body and eyes flash angrily. Before she even had a change to pick her staff from her back, Socio felt pain between her ribs. Two daggers punctured her skin, making her bleed. Air got pushed off from her lungs and Socio freezed because of the pain. She tried to breath, swallow the dusty air of canyons.
When she finally looked around se didn't see the elf. Socio still felt his presence, and eyes angrily closed she tried to find him with her glance. "Meh will get ya'! Me will!" She yelled exhausted and angry, but the elf was gone. Yelling made her arch her back, and she almost fell to her knees. Her hair already sweeped floor of the canyon, but she just kneeled down, leaning to her knees with her hands.
Socio mumbled, even more angry before whistling Sade to her. "Ye makin' mistake, pinkskin" Socio talked to herself before climbing to her raptor.

The Empire, The Vale

During the next weeks Socio trained hard. They ways of shaman came more familiar for her and she still amazed people with her ability to use axes as weapons. When it was time for her to choose wich area of shamanism she'd study, she suprised everyone by choosing the spellcrafting and studying elements instead of wielding the axes of hers.
Soon she got word from the council of The Empire. The trolls were supposed to gather up in Stranglethorn Vale in few days. The great Arena was calling. It was time for Socio to enter to the jungle.
Exited, Socio stepped to the boat in Ratchet. She felt good, wind on the sea felt good, and scent of salty water. Finally she was leaving Kalimdor and Tanaris behind. No need to be afraid because of her old tribe anymore. She knew she'd have to go back to Orgrimmar after the meeting, where she was staying at the moment, but reaching the Vale first time felt like a big step.
Booty Bay, another city of goblins, seemed very odd with it's wooden buildings and smell of fish. The air was different than back in Kalimdor, somehow thicker and hotter. In Tanaris everything was just dry.
At the gates of the city there was young troll wearing a same tabard as her. He carried sharpened daggers and wore heavy looking armor, propably made from raptor leather. The troll hailed him, and they entered to the jungle. Socio had never seen trees and plants like that. They were high and old looking, they made green roof above them. There was sound of animals around them. Socio felt more alive than for ages.
The troll escorted her to arena, where many other trolls were already. For her disappointment the Emperor wasn't present. They turned to look to the newcomer, some had even angry look on their faces. They looked strong and vicious, which made her feel uncomfortable. Their gored weapons and tabards didn't make her feel any more safe. Trolls talked and eyed her, some asked questions.
Suddenly Socio felt pain on her right side. She pulled her hand to the spot and noticed she was bleeding. She looked next to her, and she saw the troll who was escorting her to the arena. He stood there glaring, bloody dagger in his hand. Socio's blood. Socio looked to him confused, and angry. Everyone seemed to stare at those two. Then the councilor present started to speak. Female troll, whose face was covered with the mask. "I wantin' to see if it bleeds, she desert troll" the troll hissed. The councilor laughed "Ofcourse da troll bleeds, recruit". Then another, older councilor came and knocked them both down with his heavy staff. "Hand slippin'.." he mumbled and grinned. Socio fell to the arena floor. Last thing she heard was the councilor yelling "You wantin' to fight?!Then we fight!", after that all trolls started to cheer.
When Socio woke up, there was sound of swords and axes hitting against eachother, spells thrown towards others. Young, bit lost eyed troll has kneeled next to her. Without a word he helped Socio to stand up, slightly smiling. "It will be alrigh' ", the troll said and pressed his hand against Socio's wound, making her skin itch a little. Socio nodded to him and tried to smile back, through her confusin.
The troll who had stabbed her, tried to reach Socio, but she kept on dodging her. Even when he mumbled his apology, Socio kept her distance. She didn't want any more trouble.
Socio travelled back to Orgrimmar exited and confused. She felt weak, because the other trolls seemed to be so experienced and strong. But the feeling only pushed her further. She wanted to be better and stronger. She wanted to be able to fight next to them under the roof of the Vale.

Meeting the master

Socio came back from her travels. She had spent her morning hunting the beasts of nearby areas. It was hot day and Socio was sitting in the shadow of the inn of Razor Hill preparing the leathers she had skinned. Peons walked around lazily and orc patrols on the road did their roundups. Everything seemed to be calm. The orcs had catched a gnome last night and the body was hanged to the wall of nearby building. Socio heard the flies buzzing around it already. It didn't have eyes anymore, thanks to the birds that flew over the village. Socio grinned slightly every time she looked the dead gnome.
When the sun was on it's highest position, Socio suddenly noticed a troll on his blue and green coloured armored raptor walking towards the village. His heavy looking kilt made kind of metallic noice, and claws of the raptor scratched the ground. It breaked the silence, but Socio seemed to be only one who noticed it. When she noticed she was staring to the troll, she quickly and embarassed turned her eyes back to the skins and continued her work.
Soon low voice breaked the silence "are ye da one I'm lookin' for?". Socio looked up and saw the troll standing in front of her. Golden snakes on his black tabard, green long hair and serious looking face. Nothing extraordinary, but still something.. Socio was afraid to even look straight to this strong troll. Suddenly Socio noticed she didn't even answer to his question. She looked up, the troll seemed to be already bit annoyed. "M-meh? Me not k-know." Socio shuttered. "Well, there is no othas" thre troll answered. Socio nodded, and the troll emoted her to follow.
The troll indeed was High Councilor of Second Gurubashi Empire. Clearly a forest troll, Socio pondered while looking his long green hair. They headed to the edge of the canyons, where the troll, Kibo, asked her to sit down to the ground. Slowly, voice shuttering Socio answered to Kibo's questions.
Afterwards she didn't remember much from the conversation. But it seemed to work out well since she stood in the heat of Durotar, wearing tabard of the Second Gurubashi Empire and watching the troll run away with his raptor, towards Orgrimmar. Proudly, strong warm feeling inside Socio squeezed the hem of the tabard with her other hand while waving after the troll.
When he looked after the troll, she had two toughts in her mind. She wanted to serve Empire and it's Emperor with best way she could. And she wanted to get stronger, strong like the shaman she had just met.
